Enemy aircraft struck a poultry farm in the Kherson region

The enemy struck one of Europe’s largest poultry farms in the Kherson region, causing a massive fire and significant damage. According to preliminary reports, no one was injured, but the damage to the facility is estimated at hundreds of millions of dollars.

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The occupiers’ KABs attacked a poultry farm located in Chornobaivka, Kherson Oblast. There were no casualties. A massive fire broke out on the facility’s grounds, but it was successfully contained despite the rapid spread of the flames. The production complex sustained significant damage. The company has preliminarily estimated the losses at hundreds of millions of dollars. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

The farm was fully automated</span></span></span></span></span></span>. Human labor was used only in the egg-sorting workshop to place eggs into trays.

<span><span><span><span><span><span>At the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, during the occupation of the Kherson region, the “Chornobaivska” poultry farm was completely cut off from power and blockaded by the occupiers. As a result, it was impossible to deliver feed or perform maintenance. At that time, 4.7 million birds perished. During the occupation, the Russians looted the poultry farm. They removed modern equipment and vehicles from the site and destroyed the infrastructure. After the region was liberated, the “Ukrlandfarming” Group of Companies resumed production at the facility.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

The day before, Russian troops attacked 48 settlements in the Kherson region with drones and artillery. As a result of the shelling, three high-rise buildings and 17 private homes were damaged. A medical facility, a gas station, a bank, a commercial building, and private vehicles were also damaged. Two people were killed as a result of the Russian aggression. Another 16 residents of the region were injured.

On July 2, Russian troops launched a massive attack on the Kherson region using artillery and drones. Three civilians were killedin the shelling, and another 45 people were injured, including three children. Kherson was hit the hardest. According to the prosecutor’s office, two women were killed when a Russian drone struck a minibus. Another city resident died after being hit by an enemy drone.
