In Odesa, police detained a 26-year-old local woman who, in exchange for money from an anonymous handler, set fire to trucks in various parts of the city. The woman committed one of the crimes right in the middle of heavy enemy shelling.

This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Odesa region.

Currently, the suspect has been notified of charges of intentional damage to one vehicle. The issue of charging her with damage to another vehicle is currently under consideration. The suspect faces up to 10 years in prison.

According to the investigation, the woman was to receive up to 20,000 hryvnias for setting one car on fire. She initially photographed vehicles in various parts of the city and coordinated her actions with her handler. She then purchased gasoline and, in the evening in the Khadzhibey district, doused a “MAN” truck with the flammable liquid and set it on fire; later that night in the Peresyp district, specifically during heavy enemy shelling, a “DAF” truck. She recorded her actions on camera for documentation.

Eyewitnesses reported the fires involving the two trucks in the Khadzhibey and Peresyp districts of Odesa to the police. In the first case, civilians extinguished the fire; in the second, State Emergency Service personnel did so. Fortunately, no one was injured.

Earlier, SBU officers detained an FSB agent in the Mykolaiv region who, after deserting his unit, had re-enlisted in the military to carry out the enemy’s orders. While serving in an artillery brigade, the traitor directed the occupiers’ rocket and drone strikes against the positions and logistical facilities of the Defense Forces in the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.
