Ukrainian porcelain was exhibited at the Voznesensk Museum

At the Voznesensk Local History Museum, as part of the exhibition “The Warmth of Home,”the “Rose” tableware set by Ukrainian artistic porcelain artist Klavdiya Haponyuk was on display.

According to the O.O. Shovkunenko Kherson Regional Art Museum.

Klavdiya Haponyuk (1929–2012) was a master of artistic porcelain who worked at several porcelain factories in Ukraine. One of the key stages of her creative career was her work at the Polonsky Porcelain Factory, where she was one of the leading artists.

The artist created numerous porcelain tableware sets. The “Rose” set stands out for its delicate design: each piece is decorated with a painting depicting roses. The pastel colors lend the pieces a soft and refined appearance.

The exhibit is made of porcelain and features underglaze painting and gilding.

The museum notes that the set is not only a household item but also an example of Ukrainian decorative and applied art and the traditions of the domestic porcelain industry. Through works like this, one can see how artists incorporated art and attention to detail into everyday objects.

The exhibition “The Warmth of Home”is a joint project of the Oleksiy Shovkunenko Kherson Regional Art Museum and the Y. A. Kibrik Voznesensk Art Museum. It brings together 20th-century Ukrainian porcelain and ceramics with works by contemporary masters of decorative and applied arts from the Voznesensk region.
