The occupiers continue their daily terror campaign in the Kherson region, launching strikes on residential neighborhoods and civilian infrastructure. Over the past 24 hours, Russian attacks have claimed the lives of two people, and another 16 residents of the region have been wounded.

This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

Between July 2 and July 3, Russian troops carried out massive drone and artillery attacks on 48 settlements in the Kherson region, including Kherson itself.

Residential neighborhoods, as well as critical and social infrastructure facilities, came under enemy fire. As a result of the shelling, three high-rise buildings and 17 private homes were damaged. A medical facility, a gas station, a bank, a commercial building, and private vehicles were also damaged.

Two people were killed as a result of the Russian aggression. Another 16 residents of the region sustained injuries of varying severity.

Despite the constant danger, the evacuation of residents from frontline areas continues. Over the past day, 13 people were evacuated from liberated communities in the Kherson region to safer locations.

On July 2, Russian troops launched a massive attack on the Kherson region using artillery and drones. As a result of the shelling, three civilians were killed, and another 45 people were injured, including three children. Kherson was hit the hardest. According to the prosecutor’s office, two women were killed when a Russian drone struck a minibus. Another city resident died after being hit by an enemy drone.

In addition, Dmytro Lubinets, the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, appealed to the International Committee of the Red Cross, calling on it to urge Russia to establish a “ceasefire” on July 3 to facilitate the humanitarian evacuation of civilians from the temporarily occupied town of Oleshky and other settlements in the Kherson region.
