On the morning of July 1, Russian troops attacked a shared taxi with a drone in the Central District of Kherson. Two people were killed in the strike, and at least five others were injured. The day before, the occupiers also attacked a civilian vehicle, killing one man and injuring three others.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, and the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

According to Prokudin, the attack took place around 7 a.m., when public transportation was at its busiest. He emphasized that the operator of the Russian drone was aware that he was attacking a civilian bus carrying passengers.

“This cynical act of terrorism claimed the lives of two people,” said the head of the Regional State Administration.

According to him, six victims were taken to the hospital: a 36-year-old man and five women aged 52, 53, 53, 55, and 57. Among the injured was a nurse from one of the healthcare facilities. All of them sustained blast injuries.

The prosecutor’s office reported that it has opened a criminal investigation into a war crime. According to preliminary data, two people were killed and five others were injured as a result of the strike on the shuttle bus. The information is being verified.

Additionally, on the evening of June 30, Russian forces attacked a civilian vehicle in Kherson with an FPV drone. A man born in 1975 was killed in the strike, and three other people were injured.

According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, nearly 50 settlements in the region came under Russian attack over the past 24 hours. The enemy shelled critical and social infrastructure, damaging two high-rise buildings, 12 private homes, a business facility, a gas pipeline, outbuildings, and private vehicles.

Over the past day, one person was killed and seven others were injured as a result of Russian aggression. Eleven residents were evacuated from communities near the front lines.
