Over the past day, Russian troops launched a massive attack on the Kherson region using artillery and drones. Three civilians were killed as a result of the shelling, and another 45 people were wounded, including three children.

This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

Russian forces targeted critical and social infrastructure as well as residential neighborhoods. Nineteen private homes, an administrative building, a cell tower, a gas pipeline, outbuildings, a bus, and private cars were damaged.

Kherson was hit the hardest. According to the prosecutor’s office, two women were killed when a Russian drone struck a minibus. Another city resident died after being hit by an enemy drone.

Residents of Novoraysk, Inzhenerne, and Novomykolaivka were also injured. Most of the victims are residents of Kherson, including employees of government agencies, local government bodies, medical personnel, and civilians.

Law enforcement agencies have opened criminal cases regarding the Russian attacks under the article on violations of the laws and customs of war. Prosecutors and investigators are documenting yet another series of war crimes committed by the Russian Federation.

Additionally, over the past 24 hours, people have been evacuated from liberated communities in the Kherson region, and residents of frontline settlements are being urged to leave for safer regions.
