The enemy shelled 28 settlements in the Kherson region

Over the past 24 hours, Russian occupation forces launched airstrikes, drone attacks, and artillery fire against 28 settlements in the Kherson region and the regional capital. As a result of this massive attack, two people were killed, and nine more civilians sustained injuries of varying severity.

This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration. 

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The military targeted critical, transportation, and social infrastructure, as well as residential neighborhoods in the region’s towns and villages. They damaged three high-rise buildings and eight private homes. The occupiers also destroyed a gas station, minibuses, and private cars.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>There are reports of yet another instance of the enemy laying mines in the Kherson area. “Pryanik” (“Plyushka”) anti-personnel mines were discovered on Nezalezhnist Avenue (Ushakov) near the intersection with Yevropeiska Street (Suvorov). People were urged to limit their movement in this area. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

The day before, on September 6, two people were killed and another 20 were wounded—including two children—as a result of Russian shelling in the Kherson region. A family with two children—a 12-year-old boy, an 11-year-old girl, a 36-year-old woman, and a 39-year-old man—was injured in one of the strikes on Kherson.

The occupiers attacked critical, transportation, and social infrastructure, as well as residential neighborhoods. As a result of the shelling, four high-rise buildings and seven private homes were damaged. An administrative building, a cell tower, a utility structure, and a gas pipeline were also damaged.
