The Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kherson region has published photographs of the Mykolaiv–Kherson passenger train, which was attacked the day before by Russian strike drones in Chornobaivka, in the Kherson region.
The released images show diesel locomotives damaged by the strike and passenger cars with shattered windows.

As a reminder, on the afternoon of September 5, Russian attack drones struck a passenger train in Chornobaivka, Kherson Oblast. Two people were injured and the locomotives were damaged as a result of the attack.
According to law enforcement officials, the strike occurred around noon. The Russians directed“Shahed”-type attack drones at the passenger train in Chornobaivka.

The attack damaged the train’s locomotives. Twenty-one passengers and the train crew were evacuated from the scene.
Police noted that the extent of the damage is being assessed, and law enforcement officials are documenting yet another war crime committed by the Russian Federation.
Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration,provideddetails regarding the casualties. According to him, two diesel locomotives were damaged as a result of the attack, and a 55-year-old female railroad worker was taken to the hospital in moderate condition. The train was heading to Kherson.
The woman sustained shrapnel wounds to her arm, a concussion, blast injury, and a closed head injury. Doctors are currently providing her with the necessary medical care.
