A rocket-propelled improvised explosive device struck a train's locomotive in the Odesa region

<span><span><span><span><span><span>A passenger train in the Odesa region was struck by a targeted rocket attack. The locomotive crew was killed instantly; passengers and the train crew were evacuated.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The strike occurred just as the train was pulling into the station to safely evacuate passengers. The locomotive crew did not have enough time to come to a complete stop and evacuate on their own.   </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>340 passengers and the train crew were evacuated to safety. None of them were injured. Buses have now been arranged to transport the passengers to Odesa.</span></span></span></span></span></span>
