Bashtanka Mayor Oleksandr Berehovoi Declares ₴4.8M in Assets and Income

The mayor of Bashtanka, Oleksandr Berehovoi, declared a significant amount of real estate, cars, and cash assets. His wife owns a business and received substantial income from business activities.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations, citing data from the Unified Register of Declarations.

According to the document, the official owns two residential buildings: a 65.1-m² house purchased in 2010 for UAH 299,776 and a 49.5-m² house purchased in 2008 for UAH 171,700. He also declared two non-residential premises with a total area of 389.3 m².

In addition, Berehovoi has several land plots. In particular, in 2021, he became the owner of two plots with a total area of 1,000 m², for which he paid UAH 276,659. One of the largest land plots, with an area of 20,000 m², was purchased for UAH 61,170. In 2024, during the full-scale war, he also purchased a 1,000 m² plot of land for 179,125 UAH.

The mayor's wife, Yelyzaveta Berehova, also owns significant real estate, including non-residential premises of 251.84 m² and 46.2 m², an apartment of 44 m², and several land plots. Her largest land plot is 55,261 m² and was purchased for UAH 143,817.

The family has several cars: Oleksandr Berehovoi owns a Renault Kangoo, and his wife has two Skoda cars - Kodiaq and Kamiq.

As for income, in 2024, Oleksandr Berehovyi received UAH 854 thousand 30 in salary from the Bashtanka City Council. In addition, he declared UAH 305 of cashback from the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and received an in-kind gift worth UAH 179,125. His wife received UAH 2 million 993 thousand 260 from business activities and more than UAH 35 thousand from leasing property.

As for financial assets, Yelyzaveta Berehova keeps UAH 1 million 500 thousand in cash and USD 25 thousand. The official declared UAH 140 thousand in cash.

In addition, the official's wife has a loan, and as of today, she has to pay UAH 188,235.

Last year, the mayor of Bashtanka, Oleksandr Berehovoi, received UAH 487 thousand in salary, and his wife earned UAH 4.8 million from business activities. The official's salary almost doubled. He kept the same amount in cash as before, while his wife had another 500 thousand hryvnias in hryvnias. This means that the family's cash savings increased by one million hryvnias.

Mykola Marinov, deputy head of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, also published his income and property declaration, which reflects his family's considerable wealth. The document contains data on real estate, vehicles, financial assets and sources of income of the official and his wife.

Ivan Kukhta, the head of Snihuriv MVA, owns several land plots, shares in several companies, cars, and a significant amount of cash. The official's new declaration also contains details on the sources of his income.
