In 2025, the wife of Hryhorii Didenko, the chairman of the Odesa Regional Council, MP Yulia Didenko, gave up her 2021 Audi SQ8, which she had been using since 2023.

According to the chairman of the regional council in his declaration, his family's income was his salary of UAH 1 million 108 thousand, his wife's salary of UAH 612.4 thousand, and income from renting property of UAH 184.1 thousand.

Hryhoriy Didenko, as before, does not own any apartments according to his declaration, while his wife does:

The family's savings include 206 thousand euros in cash, which Hryhoriy Didenko keeps for himself and 172 thousand US dollars for his wife. Yulia Didenko has 11.1 thousand hryvnias in the bank, and Hryhorii Didenko himself has 1 thousand 83 hryvnias.

In June 2024, the deputies of the Odesa Regional Council approved a significant increase in salaries and allowances for the council staff.

In the same year, after the Center for Public Investigations drew attention to the declarations of Hryhorii Didenko, the head of the Odesa Regional Council, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine became interested in him.

In February 2026, the anti-corruption authorities submitted an indictment to the court against the head of the Odesa Regional Council and his wife, who is a member of the IX convocation. They are suspected of failing to declare property worth more than UAH 8 million in 2021-2023.

At the same time, the High Anti-Corruption Court is considering a lawsuit to recognize part of the couple's assets worth almost UAH 5 million as unjustified and recover them in favor of the state.

According to the investigation, in 2021-2024, the spouses purchased property worth about UAH 5 million, including two Audi SQ8 cars (2021 and 2024) and cash contributions under contracts for the sale of property rights. The analysis of income and expenses showed that the couple might not have legally acquired these assets.

The official reports do not name the suspects, but according to the CPR, they are Hryhoriy Didenko, the head of the Odesa Regional Council, and his wife Yulia.

In September last year, the High Anti-Corruption Court arrested an apartment and non-residential premises belonging to Yulia Didenko to secure the SAPO's claim. The apartment in Kyiv has an area of 32.2 square meters, and the non-residential premises in Truskavets have an area of 39.9 square meters.

According to SAPO estimates, the MP and her family did not have enough money to purchase these assets, except in part. In December 2025, NABU detectives completed an investigation into the case of the head of the Odesa Regional Council and his wife, who are suspected of concealing their property.
