Deputy Mayor of Mykolaiv Mykola Marinov has filed a declaration of income and property, disclosing his family's considerable wealth. The document contains information on real estate, vehicles, financial assets and sources of income of the official and his wife.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the official' s declaration.

Later, in 2021, he purchased a 242 m² residential building and another land plot of the same size. In addition, the family jointly owns another 381 m² house. In 2021, the official's wife bought an apartment of almost 120 m² for one million hryvnias, as well as a garage for 200 thousand.

Marinov and his family have several vehicles at their disposal. Among them is a 2018 Volkswagen Amarok truck, which he purchased in 2022 for more than UAH 436 thousand. The official and his wife keep significant funds in cash. The declaration states that the official has 170 thousand US dollars, and his wife has 130 thousand. Additionally, they keep money in bank accounts, in particular in Oschadbank, PrivatBank and other financial institutions.

The main source of the deputy mayor's income was his salary at the Mykolaiv City Council, which amounted to more than UAH 1.1 million over the year. His wife received over UAH 230 thousand from her job at the Ministry of Economy. In addition, the declaration includes a financial aid "Winter Support" in the amount of 4 thousand hryvnias and a symbolic cashback of 96 hryvnias.
