The Mykolaiv–Lviv train was half a day late

Significant delays in passenger trains have been reported in Ukraine on September 9—the Mykolaiv–Lviv train is the worst affected, running nearly 12 hours behind schedule. In total, more than two dozen trains are running late.

This is according to data from Ukrzaliznytsia’s delay tracking service.

The train with the longest delay is No. 109/110 on the Mykolaiv-Pasazhyrskyi–Lviv route. It is 11 hours and 59 minutes behind schedule.

At the same time, the service shows a high degree of reliability in predicting arrival times for most trains that are currently running late.

On the evening of September 8 and the morning of September 9, the Russian army launched a missile and drone strike on the Mykolaiv region. As a result of the attack in Mykolaiv, one woman was killed and four other people were injured. Transportation and civilian infrastructure facilities sustained damage.

According to the Regional Military Administration, this was one of the largest strikes on the region in 2026. For the attack on Mykolaiv, Russia used “Iskander” missiles, “Banderole” loitering munitions, “Shahed” strike drones, and guided aerial bombs.
