Vitalii Kim Reports ₴1.76M Income in 2024, Cryptocurrency Gains Boost Wealth

Over the year, the family of Vitalii Kim, the head of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, has significantly increased its financial assets, and the main new source of income has been the sale of cryptocurrency.

This is evidenced by the official's declaration for 2024, published by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, according to the Center for Public Investigations.

Over the past year, Vitaliy Kim earned UAH 1 million 762 thousand, which is 400 thousand more than in 2023, when his annual salary was UAH 1 million 349 thousand. His wife Yulia Kim again declared UAH 500 thousand of income from entrepreneurial activities, which has not changed compared to the previous year.

There were significant changes in the family's financial assets. A new item appeared in the declaration - the sale of cryptocurrency. Yulia Kim sold digital assets worth 1.9 million hryvnias.
The family's cash savings have grown significantly. While in 2023, Kim declared only 101 thousand hryvnias in bank accounts, now he has 150 thousand hryvnias in his personal account in a Ukrainian bank and 74 thousand euros in the Spanish bank Santander. The official's wife keeps 44 thousand hryvnias in a Ukrainian bank and 68 thousand 674 euros in the same Santander.
Cash savings have also increased. Vitalii Kim has 67 thousand dollars, his wife has 2.47 million hryvnias, 28.5 thousand dollars and 70 thousand euros.

The car fleet has remained unchanged: the family owns two cars - a 2015 Mercedes-Benz E200 and a 2017 SUBARU XV 2.0, and also rents a 2020 Volkswagen Touareg R-Line.

The Kim family owns five apartments in Mykolaiv ranging from 49 to 116 square meters, as well as 50% of the rights to an apartment of more than 102 square meters. Another apartment belongs to Yulia Kim, with an area of more than 50 square meters. Kim himself also owns a non-residential premises of 293 square meters. The same property was listed in the declaration for 2024.

Earlier, Intent wrote that in 2022, the official's wife received a Hublot watch as a gift from her husband.

Last year, Yulia Kim became the owner of a Bitcoin account (BTC, XBT). A check of the identifier specified in the official's declaration shows that the cryptocurrency on this account is valued at more than $30 thousand. The declaration indicated its value at UAH 848 thousand.
