Two high-rise buildings damaged by Russian shelling will be restored in Mykolaiv: we know which ones

Mykolaiv plans to overhaul two residential buildings damaged by Russian shelling. Tenders totaling more than UAH 13 million have already been announced in the electronic procurement system.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations, citing data from the Prozorro website.

The customer is the Department of Housing and Communal Services of Mykolaiv City Council.

According to the first procurement, it is a major overhaul of a residential building at 27 Naberezhna Street, Mykolaiv. They are ready to spend UAH 5 million 393 thousand 485 on the works. These funds will be used to dismantle the destroyed part of the building, restore walls and partitions, install ceilings, restore the facade, etc. The auction is scheduled for September 2.

Another building affected by Russian attacks needs to be overhauled at 70-A Myru Avenue. According to the tender documentation, the contractor has to carry out dismantling works, replace windows and doors of the entrance, balcony blocks.

It also provides for insulation and repair of the facades, as well as roof repair. In addition, the contractor will carry out repairs in the apartments, where it is planned to reinforce the exterior walls and restore the damaged finishes. All work should be completed by the end of May 2025. This repair was estimated at UAH 7 million 940 thousand 464. The auction is scheduled for September 10.

Both procurements are held in the format of open bidding with features that allow the procedure to be carried out in a much shorter time frame: the period for submitting proposals lasts only seven days, and the period for challenging qualifications is five calendar days.

Recently, the Department of Housing and Communal Services has planned to repair and equip the shelter of the Medical and Health Care Center No. 4. It is planned to spend more than three million hryvnias from the local budget.

The shelter at the Mykolaiv House of Children and Youth Creativity will also be repaired.

In addition, the city has announced a tender for the repair of a kindergarten.
