Mykolaiv has announced a tender for the reconstruction of a sewer collector on Chkalova Street, with more than UAH 59 million to be spent on the work. The project envisages a complete replacement of worn-out networks and modernization of infrastructure with a deadline of the end of 2026.

This is evidenced by data from the public procurement system Prozorro.

Mykolaivvodokanal, a municipal utility company, has announced an open tender for the reconstruction of a gravity sewer along Chkalova Street - from 6th Slobidska Street to Inzhenerna Street. The expected cost of the works is over UAH 59 million including VAT.

According to the procurement data, the tender was announced on March 20, 2026. The deadline for submitting bids is April 6, and the auction is scheduled for April 7. The minimum step down in price is UAH 590 thousand, and the bid security is UAH 295 thousand.

The works involve the reconstruction of a sewer collector in Mykolaiv with a deadline of the end of 2026. Funding will come from the company's own funds and other sources not prohibited by law.

The winner will be determined solely by the price criterion, and payments to the contractor will be made after the work is completed on the basis of signed certificates.

At the same time, according to the DREAM digital restoration system, about UAH 77.6 million was planned for the reconstruction. Of this amount, 64.7 million will be spent on capital expenditures: more than 56 million for construction work, more than 7 million for the purchase of equipment, and more than 1.3 million for other expenses. Separately, almost UAH 13 million is allocated for taxes.

As part of the project, old reinforced concrete pipes will be replaced with modern two-layer corrugated pipes with increased strength. The total length of the renovated section will exceed 1800 meters.

The works will be carried out along the route under the roadway of Igor Bedzai Street, with the dismantling of worn-out pipes and manholes. It is also planned to replace 43 precast concrete sewer manholes with new ones with waterproof inserts and waterproofing. Since the network runs under the road, the asphalt concrete road surface will be restored after the reconstruction is completed.

Mykolaivvodokanal has also announced a tender for the restoration of the road surface after repairs to the city's networks. It is about improvement works: preparing the base and laying new asphalt on damaged road sections. More than UAH 19 million is planned for this purpose.
