The Ukrainian Navy's special intelligence unit 'Angels' carried out an operation to evacuate a civilian from the temporarily uncontrolled territories. The object of evacuation was the mother of a Navy officer. According to the available information, the woman was under constant control of the Russian special services (FSB), which significantly complicated the task.

This was reported by the Navy's special unit "Angels".

It was because of her children's service that the woman became the object of constant persecution. Security forces regularly visited her home, exerting psychological pressure and trying to force Ukrainian officers to betray and cooperate through threats to her mother. Nevertheless, the Angels managed to implement the rescue plan, traveling hundreds of kilometers under constant risk of exposure and numerous hostile checks.

According to the unit, each such mission is evidence that the fight is not only on the front line, but also for every person who dreams of returning to a free Ukraine.

Earlier, the Tenth of April NGO introduced a ticket reimbursement program for residents of Kherson region who leave dangerous localities. The organization offers a one-time financial assistance to reimburse the cost of travel by rail or bus.

The maximum amount of payment is UAH 4 thousand per person. It should be noted that the support program does not cover flights, taxi rides or fuel costs for private cars.

The most vulnerable categories of citizens who are forced to evacuate can take advantage of this opportunity. The assistance is aimed at supporting the elderly, people with disabilities, pregnant women and families with children.
