Mykolaiv has selected a contractor to rebuild the building of a yacht club that was damaged by Russian aggression. It is planned to spend more than almost three million from the city budget.
This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Prozorro electronic public procurement system.
According to the announcement, the regional children's and youth sports school of the Olympic reserve in sailing will spend UAH 2.7 million to restore the infrastructure damaged as a result of Russian armed aggression. The renovation of the club's building includes replacing windows and doors, installing window sills, restoring slopes, and updating metal grilles.
Only one participant submitted documents for the tender - LLC "Organization of Landscape Design and Interior" (OLDI). So it was with this company that the sports school signed a contract for UAH 2.6 million.
OLDI has been on the market for over 6 years. The company has a Mykolaiv residence permit and a Mykolaiv-based owner, Vitaliy Oliynyk. The company's main activity is the provision of landscape services. However, the company can also carry out construction work. Since its inception, the company has participated in public procurement 65 times and signed 54 contracts totaling UAH 10.1 million.
Earlier, Mykolaiv Youth Sports School held an auction for the overhaul of a boathouse (boat storage shed). The auction, which took place on November 13, was attended by only one bidder, Thermo Bud Engineering LLC, which signed a deal worth UAH 1.4 million. Among other works, the roof needs to be replaced, metal gates repaired, drainage pipes and lighting replaced.
In addition, Mykolaiv is to purchase laptops for the city's educational institutions. The Department of Education intends to purchase 577 new laptops for the city's educational institutions, including kindergartens and schools.
