Mykolaiv Yacht Club to be repaired after shelling: tender for millions and a contractor with no criminal record

The city of Mykolaiv has decided to repair the building and boathouse of the yacht club, which was damaged by Russian aggression. It is planned to spend more than four million from the city budget.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the electronic public procurement system Prozorro.

According to the announcement, the regional children's and youth sports school of the Olympic reserve for sailing plans to use more than 4 million hryvnias to restore infrastructure damaged as a result of Russian armed aggression.

It is planned to spend UAH 2 million 722 thousand 360 for the current repair of the club's building. The auction is scheduled for November 22. The tender offer must be secured by 80 thousand hryvnias.

The work includes replacing windows and doors, installing window sills, restoring slopes, and updating metal grilles. The repairs should be completed by December 7, 2024.

In addition, a major overhaul of the boathouse (boat storage shed) is planned. Only one bidder was present at the tender, which took place on November 13, and the contract was awarded for UAH 1 million 496 thousand 300. Among other works, the roof needs to be replaced, the metal gate repaired, and drainage pipes and lighting replaced.

The works will be performed by Thermo Bud Engineering LLC, which, according to the YouControl online analytical system, was registered in 2016 with a registered capital of UAH 10 thousand. The founder of the company is Oleksandr Hindyuk. He is also the head of Pivden Trade Group LLC.

In 2024, Thermo Bud Engineering LLC earned UAH 3 million 591 thousand 141 in public procurement. It was not involved in any criminal or judicial investigations.

They also decided to turn an old boiler house in Voznesensk into a modern hub, with more than UAH 19 million allocated from the city budget. The old boiler house building will be modernized into a multifunctional point of interaction, which will include an art gallery, a workshop and a graphics school.

In addition, Mykolaiv is to purchase laptops for the city's educational institutions. The Department of Education intends to purchase 577 new laptops for the city's educational institutions, including kindergartens and schools.

And the project to renovate the school cafeteria at Mykolaiv Gymnasium is among the most expensive. In total, contracts for the modernization of canteens in educational institutions in Mykolaiv region totaled UAH 246.8 million. Currently, 17 contracts have been signed for the repair of canteens in various schools in the region.
