The court found a resident of Kherson region guilty of collaboration who voluntarily cooperated with the enemy during the occupation. Prosecutors of the Oleshky District Prosecutor's Office fully proved her guilt in court.

This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The court sentenced in absentia to eight years in prison a resident of the Kherson region who voluntarily joined the occupiers. The woman headed the fake Department of Labor and Social Policy in Oleshky, where she actively helped the invaders legalize their power.

In her 'position', the convict formed the staff, converted salaries into Russian rubles and collected data on vulnerable residents of the district for the occupation bases. In addition, she officially registered her institution with the illegal tax service of the Russian Federation.

In addition to the actual term, the court ordered a complete confiscation of property and banned the woman from working in government or providing public services for 12 years.

Earlier, in April 2025, the head of the Oleshky MVA , Tetiana Hasanenko, fired the director of the local utility company "Pobut", Maryna Akimova, who has been known for her open cooperation with the Russian invaders for three years.

The reason for the dismissal was Akimova's personal statement dated April 25, 2025. At the same time, according to journalists, only on April 17 this year, the Oleshkiv MVA initiated an internal investigation into her activities by creating a commission.

The State Register of Court Decisions does not contain any rulings that would indicate that Ukrainian law enforcement officers are investigating the case against the former director of the municipal enterprise.
