In April 2025, the head of the Oleshky MVA , Tetiana Hasanenko, fired the director of the local utility company "Pobut", Maryna Akimova, who has been known for her open cooperation with the Russian invaders for three years.

This was reported by the Hryvnia newspaper.

The reason for the dismissal was Akimova's personal statement dated April 25, 2025. At the same time, as journalists note, only on April 17 this year, the Oleshky MVA initiated an internal investigation into her activities by creating a commission.

The State Register of Court Decisions does not contain any rulings that would indicate that Ukrainian law enforcement officers are investigating the case against the former director of the municipal enterprise.

According to the text of the order, the contract with Akimova was suspended in May 2022. At the same time, the document provides for the payment of the final settlement after her dismissal, so these budget funds may end up in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region.

Oleshky became aware of Akimova's cooperation with the occupation authorities last year. Then she appeared in the Russian registers as the head of the illegally created enterprise "Housing and Communal Services and Improvement", which is actually the same utility company "Pobut", registered under the laws of the Russian Federation. Also, in June 2022, the occupation administration of the pseudo-"Oleshky Municipal District" published a post in which Akimova thanked the invaders for paying salaries to the employees of the utility company.

Oleshky is a city in the Kherson region, the administrative center of the city community of the same name. It is located on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Oleshky has been under temporary Russian occupation since the beginning of the full-scale invasion (February 2022).
