Government initiates creation of an industrial park in Odesa region

Pivdennyi Eco-Industrial Park in Odesa region has been officially included in the Register of Industrial Parks of Ukraine. The project will create about 1,500 jobs and attract investments for the development of the processing industry and infrastructure of the region.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

According to Vitaliy Kindrativ, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, the new industrial park in Odesa region will help develop the processing industry and attract investment, create about 1,500 jobs in the production of products, machinery, furniture and other industries, and support the Made in Ukraine program. The Government made the decision at a meeting on Wednesday.

There are currently 105 industrial parks in Ukraine. Pivdennyi Eco-Industrial Park became the 14th park to be included in the Register in 2025.

The park was initiated by the Podil City Council and will be managed by Eco Solutions LLC. The total area of the park is 37.39 hectares.

The total investment in the construction of the park's facilities is estimated at approximately UAH 3.7 billion. Podil City Council plans to attract investments worth USD 83 million. The sources of financing include funds from the management company, park participants, investors, international technical assistance, and state and local budgets.

Odesa region is also looking for funding to create the R-33 industrial park in the village of Borshchy, Podil district. The park will specialize in metalworking and metal products and will be located on the territory of the former Pivdentekhgaz enterprise with an area of 10 hectares. The concept envisages the creation of a modern industrial cluster, and the project is expected to attract more than UAH 500 million.
