Debris removal completed in Odesa after night attack

Employees of the State Emergency Service have completed emergency rescue operations at the sites of the enemy attack.

According to the press service of the State Emergency Service in Odesa region, the final number of victims is 17, of whom seven, including one child, were rescued. Three people died, including one child.

The State Emergency Service has engaged 44 vehicles and more than 200 rescuers in the response. Meanwhile, the acting mayor of Odesa, Ihor Koval, signed a decree declaring April 6 as the Day of Mourning for those killed in the Russian attack at night.

During the night, Russians once again massively attacked Odesa. Three people have been killed - a 53-year-old and a 30-year-old woman, as well as a two-and-a-half-year-old girl. Another 14 citizens were injured. Among them are three children: A seven-month-old boy, a two-year-old girl, and a 17-year-old boy, as well as four women aged 21-64, including a young pregnant woman, and six men aged 18-65. All the injured people were hospitalized.

Damage was done to a kindergarten, a shop, a park, the roof and glazing of a 20-story residential complex, three floors of a six-story residential building, eight private households, administrative buildings, and at least 20 cars.

According to the Air Force Command, on the night of April 6, starting at 18:00 on April 5, the Russians attacked with 141 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmass, and other types of drones - about 80 of them were Shahed.

According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 a.m., air defense managed to neutralize 114 enemy UAVs. There were 26 strike UAVs hit at 17 locations, and the downed UAVs fell at 13 locations.
