The Odesa region is looking for funds in the amount of more than UAH 15 million to install two solar power plants.

The relevant information was published on the DREAM platform.

The village of Velykodolynske, Odesa district, has planned a large-scale reconstruction of power supply networks with the construction of a solar power plant on the territory of a water pumping station.

The project envisages the installation of a solar power plant that will ensure the uninterrupted operation of an important critical infrastructure facility - a pumping station that supplies water to more than 8,000 residents of Velykodolynske, including new buildings, as well as industrial consumers.

The SPP will consist of 360 photovoltaic modules with a total generation of up to 365,000 kWh per year. Two hybrid inverters with a capacity of 50 kW each will be installed, as well as a block of 13 2.4 kWh batteries, which will provide a total capacity of 31.2 kWh. Outdated electrical equipment will also be replaced with new ones.

According to the description, the main purpose of the facility is to compensate for the pumping station's own energy consumption. Part of the generated energy will be supplied to the grid, but not more than 25% of the permitted capacity of electrical installations.

The project has already set tentative budgets:

However, no funding source has been confirmed yet.

Meanwhile, a large-scale reconstruction of the sewerage system is being prepared in the village of Prylymanske, Ovidiopol district, Odesa region. And an industrial park worth half a billion may appear in the village of Borshchy, Podil district. It will be focused on metalworking and the production of metal products.
