On the night of January 18, the enemy attacked the south of Odesa region with attack drones, hitting an infrastructure facility.
According to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, the hits caused a fire at an energy infrastructure facility.
The drones damaged a production building and the company's property. No one was killed or injured. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fire.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Air Force Command reports that on the night of January 18, Russians attacked Ukrainian cities with 201 Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of drones. According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 a.m., air defense defenses neutralized 167 enemy Shahed, Gerber and other types of drones.
At the same time, 30 attack UAVs were recorded at 15 locations, as well as the fall of the wreckage of downed UAVs at two locations.
On the night of January 17, the enemy struck again at the energy infrastructure of Odesa region. No one was killed or injured, and critical infrastructure and life support facilities are operating normally. According to the State Emergency Service in Odesa Oblast, the fire has been extinguished. The building with property and vehicles were damaged.
On January 15, the terrorist country of Russia fired a ballistic missile at the port of Chornomorsk. The strike damaged containers and caused an oil leak. Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that one crew member was injured in the attack. The vessel was preparing to transport containerized cargo. The missile attack damaged three containers and caused an oil leak. To localize the consequences of the incident, a boom barrier is being installed in the port.
