Enemy drones attacked Izmail port and industrial infrastructure

The occupiers' drones again massively attacked the south of Odesa region, striking at port and energy infrastructure and residential buildings. Izmail and the settlements of the Vilkovo community suffered the most.

This was reported by Izmail Mayor Andriy Abramchenko.

On the night of today, Russian troops carried out another massive drone attack in the south of Odesa region. The port and energy infrastructure of the Izmail district, as well as residential areas, were hit. Unfortunately, one person was injured.

Damage was recorded in Izmail and the Vilkovo community as a result of the shelling. Infrastructure facilities and residential buildings were damaged.

According to him, after the attack, all emergency services immediately began working to eliminate the consequences and provide assistance to the victims. Currently, special commissions are documenting the extent of the destruction, while restoration and repair work continues.

A day earlier, Russian Federation troops attacked the south of Odesa region with an attack drone, destroying a residential building and causing a large-scale fire. A woman was injured in the attack, and another person may be trapped in the rubble. An 87-year-old woman was killed in the attack. Another woman, 59 years old, was injured. Doctors assess her condition as moderate.

On the evening of March 24, the Russian army once again launched a massive drone strike in Odesa region. One of the drones hit a bus stop in Odesa district. As a result, two people were injured: an 18-year-old girl and a 51-year-old man. Their condition is assessed by doctors as moderate. As a result of the attack, transportation and energy infrastructure facilities were also damaged.

The enemy attack on the evening of March 23 left residents of part of Odesa district, in particular, the Peresypskyi district of Odesa, without electricity.
