The enemy launched a missile and drone strike on the Black Sea and Southern ports: one person was killed

A missile and drone strike on port infrastructure hit Odesa region. The attack killed one person and injured several others.

This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.

This afternoon, Odesa region suffered a combined missile and drone strike on port infrastructure facilities.

According to preliminary data, one person was killed and five others were injured. The injured are being provided with the necessary medical care.

The attack damaged the port's administrative building, freight transport, containers and other port infrastructure.

Emergency and emergency services are working on the scene to eliminate the consequences of the attack. Law enforcement officers are recording the facts of another crime against civilians in the region.

According to Ukraine's Vice Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba, this is yet anotherattack by a terrorist country on port infrastructure that is involved in ensuring the world's food security. Russia is deliberately trying to undermine the economy and destroy maritime logistics.

On January 1, Russian troops again attacked Ukrainian ports with attack drones. Port infrastructure facilities in the Odesa region came under fire. As a result of the drone attack, the port of Izmail recorded damage to berths and port equipment. According to preliminary reports, there were no fatalities or injuries. The port of Odesa was also damaged: debris from downed enemy drones and a blast wave damaged port equipment, vehicles, and some infrastructure elements.

Odesa's New Year's Eve also began not with celebrations, but with explosions and air raids. Enemy drones hit energy infrastructure and residential areas.

During the New Year's Eve, the enemy carried out several waves of attacks with attack drones directly on Odesa. A number of emergencies were recorded in the city, including the fall of drones and their wreckage, fires at infrastructure facilities, and damage to residential buildings.
