Russian troops attacked Ukrainian ports again with attack drones. Port infrastructure facilities in the Odesa region came under fire.

This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.

As a result of the drone attack, the port of Izmail recorded damage to berths and port equipment. According to preliminary reports, there were no fatalities or injuries.

The port of Odesa was also damaged: debris from downed enemy drones and a blast wave damaged port equipment, vehicles, and some infrastructure elements. The extent of the destruction and damage is currently being determined.

According to the press service, all relevant services, including rescuers, law enforcement and utility units, are working on the ground. From the first minutes after the strike, they have been involved in eliminating the consequences of the attack and restoring normal port operations. Special thanks were expressed to the port industry and emergency services, who promptly joined the work despite the risk of repeated shelling.

Odesa celebrated New Year's Eve to the sound of explosions and air raid sirens, not fireworks. Enemy drones attacked energy infrastructure and residential areas of the city.

As a result of the attack, fires were reported at infrastructure facilities in Odesa, as well as damage to residential buildings. The strikes caused power outages in the city and region. Some of the critical businesses that support the city's vital functions were temporarily left without electricity.

On the morning of December 30, Russian troops struck again in the Odesa region, using attack drones. Damage to industrial and port infrastructure was reported in Odesa district.

An empty oil storage tank was damaged as a result of a hit on an industrial enterprise. In addition, a civilian vessel located in the port area was damaged.
