Andriy Vagapov is known to Odesa residents in many roles: public figure, entrepreneur, member of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, deputy of the Odesa City Council, and recently he told on social media how he got into a language scandal.

So, on the live TV show "Intent. Insight" on June 17, the host and editor-in-chief of Intent Valeriy Bolgan discussed with the deputy his service, political activities, the recent incident with a hypermarket security guard who did not comply with the language law, and other interesting topics that you can influence by asking the guest a question in the comments.

The deputy asked the security guard what was going on, and he demanded a check in Russian. When Andrii Vahapov responded by asking to speak to him in Ukrainian, the guard said that if the deputy did not understand Russian, he would ask him in English.

Turning to another security guard, the MP found out where the head of security was and continued to communicate with the head of security and the store administrator, informing them about the incident.

Every week, Intent.Insight looks at one issue that worries Ukrainians and raises topical questions and tries to solve specific problems.

The previous episode was devoted to how Kyivskyi district of Odesa is recovering from the air strikes with the head of the administration and MP Maryna Lozenko.

Before that, the airtime on June 3 was devoted to the All-Ukrainian exhibition and forum"Ukrainian Books in Odesa Region".

On May 27, the ether was dedicated to university admissions and the nuances of the 2025 campaign.

Usually, the show takes place every Tuesday, but there are exceptions - one was held on Wednesday, May 21. The guest of the studio was Oleh Zakharkiv, one of the brigade's combat officers who headed the recruiting department after being wounded and rehabilitated. He told us about his service in the south, combat everyday life, and how to join the ranks of the 40th Brigade.
