<span><span><span><span><span><span>An investigation has been completed into a Kherson resident who, while in the occupied part of the region, joined the “United Russia” party and raised funds for the occupying army. The case has been referred to court. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>According to the indictment, in April 2024, the 50-year-old man was elected to the so-called Council of Deputies of the Oleshky Municipal District. He subsequently used his position to collect material resources for representatives of the occupying army participating in combat operations in the Kherson region. In particular, the defendant collected funds for camouflage netting, repair tools, medical supplies, generators, walkie-talkies, UAV detectors, optical equipment, and more. </span></span></span></span></span></span>
<span><span><span><span><span><span>Evidence of the Kherson resident’s anti-Ukrainian activities included reports he published through pro-Russian media outlets. </span></span></span></span></span></span>
<span><span><span><span><span><span> </span></span></span></span></span></span><span><span><span><span><span><span>In the Kherson region, a 38-year-old local resident who held a leadership position in the occupation Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries of the Kherson region in August 2022 will also stand trial. The investigation established that the defendant became the head of the legal analysis and judicial affairs division within the Department of Judicial Affairs. While in this position, he provided legal support to the illegal authority and represented its interests in courts and other bodies operating under Russian law.</span></span></span></span></span></span>
<span><span><span><span><span><span>The President imposed sanctions against 15 collaborators from the occupied Kherson region. These individuals work or hold leadership positions in the occupied left-bank part of the Kherson region. </span></span></span></span></span></span>
<span><span><span><span><span><span>The sanctions list includes Olga Baranovska, who, after the start of the full-scale invasion, headed the occupation administration of Velyka Lepetykha; Mykola Bystryantsev, head of the so-called Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Fisheries of the Kherson region’s occupation administration; Yevhen Brykov, who became the so-called “minister of information” after the occupation; Vitaliy Vasyutynskyi, who worked in the illegal administrations of the Kalanchak and Verkhnorogachyk municipal districts, Oleksandr Vetrov, who after 2022 became deputy head of the occupation government of Kherson Oblast; agrarian Ivan Dotsenko, who continued his business in the occupied territory; and Serhiy Zapuskalov, who headed the pseudo-ministry of resorts and tourism.</span></span></span></span></span></span>
Sanctions were also imposed onOleksandr Zuev, who represented the occupation administration of Kakhovka and headed the illegal “council,” Oksana Korinna, who worked in the occupation Ministry of Information Policy, andErvin Musaev—the so-called Minister of Economic Development of the Kherson region.
<span><span><span><span><span><span>Also subject to the restrictions are Lyudmila Palmash, a former employee of the Kherson City Council who became deputy head of the occupation tax service; the head of the illegal finance department; Yulia Rassadina, the head of the Henichesk Municipal District; Yulia Semyakina, secretary of the local branch of the “United Russia” party; Ruslan Khomenko, head of the occupation administration in Oleshky, and Svitlana Yastremska, head of the occupation social policy department.</span></span></span></span></span></span>
