In the Mykolaiv region, the windows of a lyceum are to be repaired. More than UAH 12 million is planned to be spent from the budget.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Prozorro public procurement system.

Thus, it is planned to carry out major repairs at the lyceum No. 2 in Pivdenoukrainsk. The expected cost of the procurement is UAH 12 million 072 thousand 791. The repair involves replacing windows in the school.

The contracting authority is the Construction and Repair Department of Pivdenoukrainsk City Council.

The deadline for submitting bids is October 24, and the auction will be held on the same day. The minimum price reduction step is UAH 120 thousand 728.

Payment for the services will be made in two stages. First, the contractor will be given an advance payment of 30% of the contract amount, and the rest will be transferred upon acceptance of the work. The bidder is not required to provide a security for the tender, nor is it required to fulfill the contract.

The project provides for the replacement of windows in a three-story building in the amount of 588 pieces. The project also includes replacement of wooden window blocks with metal-plastic ones, replacement of window sills and window sills, and finishing works on internal and external slopes.

The repairs are to be completed by December 15, 2024.

Mykolaiv also plans to install fire alarms in two educational institutions. Almost three million hryvnias will be allocated from the budget. Thus, the Education Department of Mykolaiv City Council has announced a tender for the current repair of the automatic fire alarm and fire warning system of Mykolaiv Lyceum No. 28 and Mykolaiv Gymnasium No. 32.

In addition, major repairs are planned for the shelter in the Novoodeske dormitory building. The estimated duration of the repair is seven months. The shelter, with an area of 1520 square meters, is designed for 450 people. The total estimated budget of the project is UAH 29 million 800 thousand.

Meanwhile, the construction of a shelter for a lyceum in Mykolaiv region, worth almost UAH 90 million, was ordered at inflated prices and with some shortcomings. On October 3, 2024, the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of the Koblivka Village Council signed an agreement with Nimfan LLC for the construction of a radiation shelter for the Rybakiv Lyceum. The company was awarded the contract without competition. The cost of materials in the estimate is much higher than market prices.

Last year, about 500 private commercial companies received almost UAH 150.5 billion from the state. Analysts have revealed which companies received the most public funds and how they are connected to politicians.
