30 million allocated for overhaul of college shelter in Mykolaiv region

A college shelter is to be repaired in Mykolaiv region. Almost thirty million hryvnias will be spent from the state budget.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Dream ecosystem.

Thus, it is planned to overhaul the radiation shelter in the dormitory building of the Novodesskiy Vocational College. The estimated duration of the repair is seven months. The shelter, with an area of 1520 square meters, is designed for 450 people.

The source of funding is a subvention from the state budget to local budgets, which was distributed among the country's educational institutions, according to a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The total estimated budget of the project is UAH 29 million 800 thousand.

Of this amount, UAH 700 thousand was allocated for design, other capital expenditures - UAH 1 million 200 thousand, and construction itself - UAH 17 million 150 thousand. They plan to spend 5 million on equipment purchases.

As for operational costs, 300 thousand hryvnias are planned for project expertise, 500 thousand hryvnias for technical supervision, and 4 million 970 thousand hryvnias for taxes.

The project is currently in preparation.

Recently, in Mykolaiv, the repair of a shelter at a lyceum was awarded to a company that was accused of corruption and large-scale tax evasion. The tender amounted to over UAH 90 million. It is about the construction of a civil defense facility for the RRU on the territory of the Rybakiv Lyceum of the Koblivka Village Council.

Also, in Mykolaiv region, they decided to repair a shelter, the construction of which was planned in 2019 and continued in 2024. More than UAH 19 million was allocated from the budget for this purpose. It is planned to overhaul the radiation shelter No. 54726 of the Stepkivska secondary school.

In addition, in the town of Snihurivka, Mykolaiv Oblast, education officials are awarding repair contracts without auction to an entrepreneur who was convicted of robbery and theft. On September 27, the Center for Financial Services for Educational Institutions of the Snihurivka City Council signed a contract without a tender to repair a shelter in one of the local gymnasiums.
