The OVA has switched to 24-hour operations due to threats to business

Following the Russian Federation’s attacks on food warehouses in the regions, a special response protocol for centralized food storage facilities has been activated. 

According to Viktor Mykyta, deputy head of the Office of the President, the economic departments of regional military administrations are switching to round-the-clock operations and opening a “single window” to process requests from businesses.

Special working groups will help businesses decentralize the storage of goods within communities, identify suitable locations, and quickly get operations up and running.

For businesses opening additional or backup sites in other regions, the Regional Military Administrations, together with the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development, will provide full support—including assistance with land, utilities, and logistics, Mykyta promised. 

Each week, the heads of the Regional State Administrations will hold online consultations with entrepreneurs on the “Dialogue Between Government and Business” platform to resolve issues.

The contact numbers for the “one-stop shops” will be published on the administrations’ official websites.

As Intent previously reported, on the night of August 30, Russian occupiers shelled the Odesa region. Warehouses storing food supplies for the local population were hit by the enemy attack.

Earlier, on the morning of August 24, a fire broke out at one of the“Epicenter” hypermarkets in Odesa. The fire occurred amid yet another Russian attack on the city using rocket-powered drones.
