A fire broke out this morning in one of the "Epicenter" chain's hypermarkets in Odesa. The fire occurred amid yet another Russian attack on the city using rocket-powered drones.

At this time, the exact cause of the fire and the circumstances under which it started are unknown.
At the same time, Odesa has been under attack by Russian drones since early this morning. According toOleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, the strike targeted food storage facilities and energy infrastructure. Private homes were also damaged, and fires broke out. No reports of casualties have been received so far.
Cleanup efforts are underway at the sites of the attacks.
The day before, on August 23, in the Odesa region, a Russian attack drone struck the locomotive of passenger train No. 147 travelingfrom Zhytomyr to Odesa. Before the attack, the Ukrzaliznytsia monitoring team issued an evacuation order in advance, and the train was urgently stopped on the tracks.
Thanks to the prompt response, passengers, the train crew, and the locomotive crew were evacuated before the strike. At the time of the attack, there were 593 passengers on the train, including 15 children.
On August 22, the occupiers struck the headquarters of the Odesa-based “Chornomorets” club. None of the people inside the building were injured.
