Ukraine Allocates ₴16.6M for Recovery Projects in Pivdenoukrainsk

The Government of Ukraine has allocated UAH 16.6 million from the state budget for Pivdennoukrainsk, Mykolaiv region. The funds will be used to implement recovery projects in 2025.

This is stated in the annex to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of March 7.

The money was allocated under the Ukraine Recovery Program, but the document did not specify the specific number and types of projects for Pivdenoukrainsk.

In total, the Cabinet of Ministers has allocated an additional UAH 5 billion to restore more than 150 projects in 12 regions of the country. These projects include the reconstruction of hospitals, schools, kindergartens, restoration of water supply systems, and energy efficiency.

Kyiv region received the largest amount for recovery - UAH 1.7 billion. Odesa and Dnipro regions also received significant funds to implement their projects.

Intent has already written that the Cabinet of Ministers has allocated additional funds for the restoration of Kherson and other affected regions. In particular, UAH 5.2 billion will be allocated for the comprehensive restoration of five settlements, including Posad-Pokrovske in the Kherson region.

According to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, the funds will be used for major repairs, construction of new housing, and modernization of heat, gas, and water supply systems. The Cabinet of Ministers also decided to transfer more than UAH 1.8 billion to rebuild Ukraine using funds managed by the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA).

Meanwhile, the South Ukrainian community has received two one-room modular houses manufactured and assembled by DIVARIO LLC. This was the result of cooperation with the Ukrainian Support Association.

Pivdenoukrainsk, Mykolaiv Oblast, also announced a tender to select a contractor to be paid over UAH 3.6 million to renovate a pedestrian walkway.
