The amount of loans received by agricultural enterprises in Odesa region under the state program "Affordable Loans 5-7-9%" since the beginning of the year has reached UAH 3 billion.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.

This amount was collected by 463 agricultural enterprises, and 473 enterprises from Kyiv region ranked first in terms of the amount of loans, which together collected 3.1 billion hryvnias. Kirovohrad region came in first in terms of the number of enterprises that took out loans - 517 enterprises, but the amount there is less than in Odesa and Kyiv regions and amounted to UAH 2.5 billion.

Since the beginning of the year, 5,158 agricultural enterprises have attracted more than UAH 33.2 billion under this state program. And under other programs, 11 thousand agricultural enterprises have attracted more than UAH 76.3 billion.

Concessional financing for agricultural producers under the Affordable Loans 5-7-9 program during 2024-2025 is made possible by the support of the World Bank under the Emergency Project for Inclusive Support for the Recovery of Agriculture in Ukraine (ARISE). The program simplifies access to bank lending for micro and small businesses. Farmers can receive a loan of up to UAH 90 million. Loans are granted at 5-9% per annum, depending on the loan category and business entity.

Meanwhile, according to the Ministry, Ukrainian farmers have so far threshed 3 million 236 thousand hectares and harvested 10 million 347.2 thousand tons of early grains and legumes. 29% of the area planted with grains and legumes has been threshed. According to the Odesa Regional State Administration, farmers harvested 3 million 89.1 thousand tons of early grains and legumes from 1 million 70.4 thousand hectares.
