Agrarians of Odesa region ranked second in terms of the amount of loans received

Since the beginning of the year, agricultural enterprises in Odesa region have received UAH 2.5 billion in loans under the state program "Affordable Loans 5-7-9%".

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.

According to the ministry, 391 enterprises received money, and by this indicator, agrarians of Odesa region are in third place in Ukraine. In terms of the number of enterprises that took out loans, farmers in Odesa region were behind Kirovohrad region, where 447 enterprises took out loans, and Kyiv region, where 404 enterprises took out loans.

Kyiv region is also in first place in terms of the total amount of loans received - UAH 2.7 billion. Kirovohrad region's farmers received less than Odesa or Kyiv - UAH 2.2 billion.

Since the beginning of the year, 4,592 agricultural enterprises have taken advantage of the Affordable Loans 5-7-9% program, attracting almost UAH 29.2 billion under this state program.

In addition to Odesa, Kyiv and Kirovohrad regions, the following regions have been the most active in using the program:

Concessional financing for agricultural producers under the Affordable Loans 5-7-9 Program during 2024-2025 is made possible by the support of the World Bank under the Emergency Project for Inclusive Support for the Recovery of Agriculture in Ukraine (ARISE). The program simplifies access to bank lending for micro and small businesses. Agrarians can receive a loan of up to UAH 90 million. Loans are provided at 5-9% per annum, depending on the loan category and business entity.
