Law enforcement officers detained a resident of Yalta in Kyiv region. She is suspected of collaborating in teaching Ukrainian schoolchildren according to Russian educational standards.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the press service of the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

According to the investigation, since 2014, the woman, having pedagogical experience, has organized the educational process in the general education institutions of the occupied Crimea in accordance with the requirements of the aggressor country. In 2023, she voluntarily headed one of the secondary schools in Yalta, created by the occupation administration, and as the "principal" she coordinated curricula and documents, in fact, fulfilling the orders of the Russian occupiers.

In addition to teaching according to someone else's standards, the woman actively involved students in propaganda, in particular, dedicated to the "exploits of the defenders of the fatherland" and the 11th anniversary of the illegal "all-Crimean referendum".

During the search, the woman's foreign and domestic passports, equipment and means of communication were seized. At the request of the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, the suspect was chosen as a measure of restraint - detention for two months without the right to be released on bail.

The former teacher from Kherson region was also sentenced for cooperation. The court found that in 2023 she headed a school illegally established by the occupiers in the village of Rubanivka, Kakhovka district. She agitated teachers to work for the enemy, introduced the educational standards of the occupying country, conducted propaganda activities, organized the celebration of Victory Day and the all-Russian competition Teacher of the Year 2024.
