A deep-water port-rail logistics hub near Pivdennyi port has been put up for sale in Odesa region. The land is located next to the TIS port hub and the Port Plant and is intended for the development of logistics capacities.
This is evidenced by the data of the investment media portal InVenture.
According to the portal, the area of the hub is 100 hectares. The array is structured for different types of cargo flows and can function as a single port cluster.
Three hectares are directly adjacent to the water, which allows for the construction of a mooring line and a front for ship calls. Of these, 56 hectares are allocated for a railway station-HUB with a marshalling yard and loading ramps, 23 hectares for a dry port and industrial and warehouse area, 14 hectares for a container or multicargo terminal, and 4 hectares can be used for additional industrial or warehouse facilities.
The technical characteristics allow working with Panamax and Post-Panamax vessels, and the organization of a conveyor transition from any part of the array to the water is envisaged. The pre-approved design of the Hub railway station provides a transshipment potential of 2 to 10 million tons per year.
The location is suitable for launching grain, container, liquid bulk or mixed logistics, as well as forming a multi-cargo cluster, LNG and oil terminal. The land has access to power supply with a capacity of more than 1 MW, water supply, and there is a technical possibility of gas connection.
The sale of the array is offered at a negotiated price, with the option of selling individual plots to investors.
In late December, the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine announced a tender for the concession of the first and container terminals in the port of Chornomorsk - the Universal and Grain Sea Terminals. The concession will last for 40 years.
