In Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv region, local authorities discussed two important projects: the arrangement of the Walk of Fame to honor the memory of fallen defenders and the creation of a veterans' hub.

This was reported by the Executive Committee of the Pervomaisk City Council.

According to community leader Oleh Demchenko, the Walk of F ame is not only a memorial project, but also an important symbol of community unity around the memory of the fallen Heroes. The Alley will feature portraits of soldiers, memorial plaques with their names, and artistic compositions that will reflect the Ukrainian struggle for independence.

Families of fallen soldiers, veterans, members of the public and architects will be involved in discussing the concept. The main goal is to create a place where every resident can pay tribute to the Heroes, and young people can better understand the significance of their feat.

In addition, the community plans to open a Veteran Hub, a space to support soldiers who have returned from the front. It will provide psychological assistance, counseling on social adaptation and employment.

The implementation of these projects is aimed at preserving the memory of the fallen defenders, supporting veterans, and strengthening the patriotic spirit of the community.

Meanwhile, in the Odesa region, the Housing and Utilities Department of the Izmail City Council has begun searching for a contractor to overhaul part of Victory Square and create an Alley of Glory to honor the memory of fallen Izmail defenders. The customer estimated the cost of the work at UAH 12 million 537 thousand. The funding will be divided into two stages: UAH 6.37 million of the total amount will be allocated from the city treasury this year, and the rest - in 2026.

In Odesa, a new part of the memorial "Wall of Memory" was inaugurated near the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine on Pastera Street.
