Local budgets in the Mykolaiv region received 138.8 million hryvnias in property tax revenue from January through July 2026.

According to the regional office of the State Tax Service, legal entities— property owners—contributed the most to municipal budgets.

Over the seven-month period, they paid 102.1 million hryvnias.

Individuals paid 36.7 million hryvnias in property tax during the same period.

Propertytax is transferred in full to local budgets. Communities can use these funds to finance social services, develop infrastructure, and implement local projects.

The property tax rate is set by local government authorities.

It is worth noting that for residential properties, the tax for individuals is calculated based on the area exceeding 60 square meters for apartments, 120 square meters for single-family homes, and for various types of residential real estate, including shares thereof—180 square meters.

The basis for the assessment is data from the State Register of Real Property Rights.

You can find out the amount of the tax liability at the tax office where you are registered or online through the taxpayer’s electronic account, provided you have an electronic digital signature.
