Housing construction in the Mykolaiv region has nearly doubled

<span><span><span><span><span><span>In the Mykolaiv region, 46,646 square meters of housing were put into service during the first six months of 2026. This is 1.82 times</span></span></span></span></span></span><span><span><span><span><span><span>more than during the same period in 2025. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The largest amount of housing was commissioned in the Mykolaiv District. Over the course of half a year, the district added 25,746 square meters of housing. At the same time, the largest increase was recorded in the Voznesensk District. There, 16,572 square meters were put into operation, representing a 546.8% increase compared to the 2025 figure. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>Earlier</span></span></span></span></span></span>, the<span><span><span><span><span><span>permitting</span></span></span></span></span></span>department of the Mykolaiv State Architectural and Construction Inspection registered 268 construction permits in the first half of 2026. This is nearly 60% more than during the same period last year.

Specifically, in the first six months of 2026, the city registered 

• 72 notices of the start of construction work (construction permits);
• 60 declarations of readiness for operation (construction certificate);
• 52 declarations of readiness for unauthorized construction;
• 20 notices of commencement of work on SS1 facilities;
• 16 permits for construction work;
• 16 amendments to construction passport notifications;
• 12 declarations of readiness for SS1 facilities;
• 6 amendments to permits for construction work;
• 4 certificates of acceptance of facilities into operation.

Most often in Mykolaiv, documents were processed for private construction and renovation projects. People were also actively legalizing unauthorized construction.
