One million hryvnias allocated for repair of utility rooms of canteen in Mykolaiv region

One of the educational institutions in Mykolaiv region planned to renovate the premises of the canteen. More than a million hryvnias were allocated from the local budget.

This is evidenced by data from the Prozorro electronic public procurement system.

In the village of Bashtanka, Mykolaiv region, it is planned to repair the auxiliary premises of the canteen of the Yurievo gymnasium.

The customer is the Center for Financial and Economic Services of Educational Institutions of Snihuriv City Council.

The expected cost of the works is UAH 1,085,314. The minimum price reduction step is UAH 5,426. Bidders are not required to provide a bid security.

According to the plan, bidders can submit their bids until February 2, and the auction will start on February 3.

The works are being carried out under the state program on a post-payment basis, which provides 100% payment after completion of the works within seven banking days.

The selected contractor must provide information on the availability of employees with appropriate qualifications and confirm experience in performing similar work. The repairs should be completed by June 10, 2025. The contractor must guarantee the quality and ability to operate the facility for three years.

According to the project description, this facility is a step towards improving the learning and nutrition conditions for students of the Yurievo Gymnasium, which combines an elementary school and a preschool unit.

And the Veselynivka Village Council planned to raise more than UAH 36 million for the reconstruction of the Kolosiv Lyceum's canteen. The canteen reconstruction project began in January 2025 and requires funding. The work is expected to last 10 months.

Last year, the project to modernize the canteen at Mykolaiv Gymnasium was among the most expensive. The total amount of contracts concluded for the renovation of canteens in the region's educational institutions is UAH 246.8 million. As part of this initiative, 17 contracts were signed to renovate canteens, including works at Vradiyivka Lyceum No. 2, Mykolaiv Lyceum No. 3, No. 40 and Mykolaiv Gymnasium No. 46.

In September, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to allocate subventions for the purchase of equipment and renovation of school canteens. Four educational institutions in Mykolaiv received funding totaling about UAH 80 million.
