Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov has ordered an unscheduled internal audit of the activities of Odesmiskelectrotrans utility company regarding the use of electricity in the period from 2018 to 2023.

The corresponding order was published by the press service of the Odesa municipality.

The audit team has one month from the date of issuance of this order to conduct the audit. After that, it must report its results to the mayor and ensure the preparation of an audit report.

The group will consist of five officials. Tetiana Sorochan, Head of the Internal Audit Division of the Department of Analytics and Control of Odesa City Council, will head the group.

It should be noted that in 2018, the utility company was headed by Dmytro Zheman, who later became Deputy Mayor, but then they had a conflict and Dmytro Zheman was fired. After that, the company was managed by Natalia Kolesnichenko and Inessa Mandrus in turn until 2024. In May 2024, Odesa Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov appointed Mykola Lytovchuk as director of Odesmiskelectrotrans.
