Odesa region repels russian drone attack on April 27,

On the night of April 27, Odesa region was attacked by the Russian army using unmanned aerial vehicles.

According to the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office, law enforcement officers have now launched a pre-trial investigation into the commission of war crimes.

According to the investigation, on April 27, at night, the armed forces of the Russian Federation attacked Odesa region with attack drones. In Odesa district, a three-story residential building and cars were damaged. A 35-year-old local resident was injured and hospitalized.

The full list of destruction and damage is being established. At the scene , prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement officers, are documenting the consequences of Russia's armed aggression.

The Southern Operational Command, in turn, reported that on the night of April 27, the air defense of southern Ukraine shot down three enemy Shahed-type attack drones and other types of drones.

Earlier, law enforcement officials launched an investigation into violations of the rules of war due to the Russian air attack on Odesa on the night of April 22. Civilian infrastructure facilities, residential buildings, educational institutions, and citizens' cars were damaged and destroyed. The fires were extinguished by rescuers, volunteers, a firefighting unit of the National Guard of Ukraine and a unit of the Odesa City Council.

Earlier, farms in the Odesa region were damaged in a nighttime air attack by Russian forces on April 19.

Fires and civilian casualties also resulted from an air attack on Odesa by the Russian army on April 14. The strikes caused fires at several addresses.

On the night of March 28, 2025 (from 18:00 on March 27), the enemy attacked with 163 Shahed-type attack UAVs and various types of imitator drones. As of 09:00, the Ukrainian Air Force confirmed the downing of 89 Shahed attack UAVs (and other types of drones) in the south, north, and center of the country. 51 enemy imitator drones disappeared from the radar without any negative consequences.
