On the evening of February 3, Odesa police officers seized the driver from a locked car and first took him to the hospital, and later handed him over to the military of the territorial center for recruitment and social support.

This was reported by the press service of the Patrol Police in Odesa region.

According to the police, around 21:00, patrol policemen stopped a Mercedes. The driver violated the requirements of the road sign for the direction of movement in the lane, and a corresponding resolution was drawn up against the driver. Also, during the document check, it turned out that the person was wanted under Article 210 (Violation of the legislation on military duty and military service by persons liable for military service or conscripts) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses. In this regard, the person was asked to drive to the RCCC. However, the man locked himself in the car and did not comply with the orders of the police.

Suddenly, the driver left the scene of the offense and drove into the parking lot of a residential complex, where he locked himself in the car and called lawyers and other unauthorized persons to help him, who tried to divert the police's attention from the citizen. Eventually, the driver was taken out of the car and handed over to the TCC staff.

Meanwhile, the police registered in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations information about the beating of the son of journalist Victoria Koltunova in Odesa. Earlier, the Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Manning and Social Support announced the creation of a special commission to conduct an internal investigation into the statement of writer and journalist Victoria Koltunova about the beating of her son by TCC employees.

Also, on January 27, patrol police officers tried to detain the man, but failed due to the resistance of others. During the check of his documents, the inspectors found that the 40-year-old man was wanted under Article 210 (Violation of the rules of military registration by conscripts, persons liable for military service, reservists) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.

Therefore, the patrol policemen informed him of the need to go to the district territorial center of recruitment and social support for further procedural actions. However, the citizen refused and began to run away.

The man ran into a bus, the driver of which tried to physically obstruct the patrol policemen in detaining him.
