The flow of dismissals and appointments that began after the deprivation of citizenship and powers of Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov has not stopped, and last week three heads were appointed to city departments.

The relevant orders were published by the press service of the Odesa City Council.

In particular, Oleksiy Murin was appointed as the head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Odesa City Council. He had long worked as deputy head of the department, organizing mass marathons and sporting events.

Valeriy Serbin, the former deputy director of the Hub Veteran Service Office, was appointed to act as director of the municipal institution. The reason is that its head, Volodymyr Yermakov , was transferred from this position to head the new Department for Veterans Affairs, which was created in the Odesa City Council.

Another new appointment was the assignment of the duties of the director of the Service Center to the deputy director , Ihor Trosin. His boss, Zurab Shoniya, had resigned from his position a little earlier.

Acting Odesa Mayor Ihor Koval dismissed Volodymyr Khytrenko from the post of Director of the Department of Transport, Communications and Traffic Organization. Sergiy Shcherban, Head of the Department for Control over Road Safety and Parking, was appointed to this position.

Serhiy Kondratyuk was dismissed from the post of head of Peresypskyi district administration of Odesa. His position was handed over to his first deputy Svyatoslav Glazanovsky. Mr. Kondratyuk was appointed to the post in July 2018.

After that, the interim mayor, Ihor Koval, introduced Yuriy Kushchenko as the new head of the Peresypsk District Administration.
