Mykolaiv Signs Agreement with Denmark for Job Creation and Economic Recovery

Mykolaiv has signed an agreement with Denmark on employment development. The job creation project will help improve the labor market and restore the region's economy.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

A meeting was held in Mykolaiv to discuss employment and social dialogue. Representatives of local authorities and international partners discussed the prospects for economic recovery and improvement of the labor market.

The initiative to launch the project "Promoting Job Creation in Mykolaiv and Social Dialogue Development" was supported by the Embassy of Denmark in Ukraine. The project aims to create an effective platform for cooperation between government, business, and civil society organizations that will contribute to the sustainable development of the region and improve employment.

Mykola Marinov, Deputy Head of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, emphasized the importance of international support for solving the region's economic problems, particularly as the region faces numerous challenges due to the war.

During the event, an agreement was signed to implement the Local Employment Partnership (LEP). The discussion covered key issues such as the development of partnerships between the government, employers and educational institutions, the importance of social dialogue to ensure fair working conditions and the possibility of integrating European experience into employment management.

Cooperation with Danish universities and businesses is also planned, which will contribute to the development of industry and science. Denmark can help Ukraine attract investments and technological support, as well as facilitate exchanges between scientific institutions.

In addition, Germany intends to implement new projects to improve medical and social services in Mykolaiv region, particularly in the field of construction infrastructure to support medical and social initiatives such as rehabilitation.
