Mykolaiv plans to provide foster care providers with reduced fares and money

A meeting of the Executive Committee of Mykolaiv City Council is scheduled for June 11, 2025 at 10:00 am. The members of the executive committee are to consider issues related to the executive committee's work plan for the second half of 2025, resort vouchers for beneficiaries, and financial assistance to foster caregivers.

The agenda includes 74 issues, including four blocks related to guardianship. At the meeting, the deputies plan to approve the schedule of meetings of the executive committee of the Mykolaiv City Council for the second half of 2025. They are also to grant permission to the municipal enterprise "Directorate of the Single Customer "Pilot" to acquire non-residential premises in the administrative building at 33 A Ozerna Street into communal ownership.

In addition, it provides for the establishment of a commission to accept property from state to municipal ownership. It is also planned to consider the dismantling of temporary structures.

Other issues include approving the procedure for paying compensation for preferential travel to certain categories of citizens, as well as providing financial assistance to foster caregivers at the expense of the city budget.

In order to support privileged categories of citizens, Mykolaiv plans to approve the procedure for providing them with sanatorium vouchers for 2025. The decision is to be considered as part of the Social Protection program for 2024-2027.

At the last meeting in Mykolaiv, it was decided to change the purpose of part of the special fund of the budget for 2025. Instead of overhauling residential buildings damaged by the war, UAH 30.5 million was allocated for the maintenance and development of city roads. These funds were allocated as part of the Housing and Utilities Reform and Development Program for 2025-2029.

In addition, the city deputies supported personnel changes in the executive committee - Yuriy Kormyshkin, who submitted his resignation, was removed from the committee.
