Mykolaiv has announced an auction for the reconstruction of a shelter for 350 people. More than UAH 12 million has been allocated from the city budget for the repairs.
The Department of Capital Construction of Mykolaiv City Council is looking for a contractor to overhaul the civil protection facility, namely shelter No. 52508.
According to the Prozorro public procurement system, the expected cost of the work is UAH 12 million 696 thousand 658. Bids can be submitted until February 4, the same day the auction will be held.
The amount of the bid security is 0.5 percent of the expected purchase price, which amounts to UAH 63,483.

In addition, a tender was announced in Mykolaiv to find a contractor to carry out the current repair of the premises of the Primary Health Care Center No. 5. According to the terms, the selected contractor must complete the work by December 25, 2025. The expected value of the procurement was UAH 5.4 million.
Last year, the Department of Housing and Communal Services planned to repair and equip the shelter of the Medical and Sanitary Aid Center No. 4. It was planned to spend more than three million hryvnias from the local budget.
Currently, 85 medical facilities in Mykolaiv Oblast have been equipped with shelters, 80% of which are ready or partially ready. In particular, shelters have been set up at the Regional Clinical Hospital, the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital and the Mykolaiv Regional Clinical Hospital for War Veterans.
Mykolaiv City Council has also allocated over UAH 19 million for major repairs of medical facilities. In addition, the plans include the construction of a perinatal, rehabilitation and children's diagnostic centers.
